[The ruckus in the background is audible enough, rumbling the walls of the building Rey's sought refuge in. She's already reached out to Nick and Henry, and seen what happened to the latter on the network. If it all goes to hell here, then she can't carry the last words she had with Maketh as final.]
Maketh.
I know I'm-- [something collapses in the background] --probably the last person you want to hear from right now, and I don't expect you to answer, but--
[Laser fire. Crash. Yelling in the distance. Someone needs help? Can't tell.] Please be safe.
[Like Rey said, she doesn't expect a reply. Not now. So she runs back into the fray.]
[What timing. She doesn't expect the response, but there it is. Rey is silent for a moment, with only the raucous sound of battle going on around her. She's traveled zones like these; she can survive it alone.]
Doesn't matter. I'll be somewhere else soon, anyway.

[Another pause. Don't choke.]
Goodbye.
[And that's all she wrote.]

State your coordinates.
[She repeats the message several more times, though there's no response.]
Answer me, soldier!
[Nothing.]
