He says he's a shapeshifter and that it isn't the same thing. It's similar enough to raise my suspicion, but I don't think he was lying to me. He claims to experience no blood lust or loss of control, and simply has the ability to shift at will.

We are from separate worlds. The rules that govern our species may be different there.

He was very intent to prove that he wasn't a threat. I didn't sense much violence from him, but I can't guarantee he wasn't lying.
